Sarbast Bakr – {Licence to live} – Frustrated Writers' Group

Sarbast Bakr (he/him) is a journalist, teacher and writer from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He taught at the University of Sulaimani between 2011 and 2023, and has been a member of the Kurdistan Journalists’ Union since 2001. He received a Masters Degree in Media from the University of Tripoli, Lebanon, and is the founding member of the International Union of Professional Trainers (IUPT).
